Future Horizons Consultancy provides multidisciplinary analyses, evaluations, technical advice, capacity development and operational support for the benefit of governments, financial sector institutions, private sector companies, international development organisations, and NGOs. Our value added is to combine economic, social, environmental, technological, business and political analysis and build bridges between scientific research, innovation, policy and development practice.

The Research Lab is a separate branch of Future Horizons carrying out economic and social science research on valuation, with a focus on three areas: justice and the rule of law, sustainability, and blended finance. Our interest in valuation methodologies and applications spans from the application of cost-benefit analysis to unconventional and complex issues to analysing the performative role of value concepts in creating markets from the standpoint of science and technology studies.

Future Horizons is based in Oslo, Norway, and works with a network of associated experts from around the world. We bring together multidisciplinary teams to address practical development challenges and provide solutions to public and private sector organisations. Our team has several decades of combined experience from more than 40 countries in five continents. We have provided research, advisory and operational support to clients such as the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the OECD, United Nations agencies, the European Commission, the African Union, national and local governments, international NGOs, financial sector institutions, and private sector companies.
